The CAMEROON EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, a company specializing in human resources management, supporting companies and young people in achieving their professional goals, is looking for a TOPOGRAPHER.

MISSION:

Field and office person; he is responsible for carrying out topographical surveys in the field, calculating and interpreting the measurements taken.

TASKS:

• Control the topographical surveys of the land (relief, details of the ground, and of the subsoil); from which the dimensions of the earthworks are defined
• Follow the locations on the ground using markers (marks, stakes ...) materializing the position and the right-of-way
• Carry out the phasing of the site by ensuring the continuity over time of the positioning of the elements both from a geometrical and geographical point of view
• Ensures that the contractor takes new readings to establish the proofing plan to verify that the company has carried out the work in accordance with the project.
• Synthesize many documents and varied data to draw conclusions
• He will have to show autonomy, but remains in constant contact with various interlocutors: Civil Engineering and environmentalist.
• He carries out field surveys, using topographic measuring devices: theodolite, electronic tacheometers, laser scanning, GPS, without omitting any detail: altitude levels, trees, telegraph poles, walls…; an observer, he must have a sense of space, in particular to understand the reliefs, some surveys requiring precision to the millimeter (civil engineering work).
• From these surveys, he checks the layout plans of works on a computer, using increasingly sophisticated means: measurement software, CAD / DAO (Computer Aided Design Design), GIS (computerized systems). (geographic information), satellite images (GPS), etc ... Which allow to obtain firmer readings and to manage more data.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Academic level : BAC + 5 (Surveyor Engineer)
• Professional experience : 03 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of : Computer science, have a solid knowledge of cartography
