Linkedin Profile!

What keeps you away from recruiters

Due to fantasy or ignorance, mishandling your photo can cause you to lose points.

Similar errors are repeated very often from one profile to another. Whether you are looking for a new job, want to optimize the one you currently have, or are simply looking for professional opportunities, you must avoid avoiding the aspect reserved for your photo of profile on Linkedin.

Social media dedicated to professional purposes, Linkedin presents itself as the breeding ground for many recruiters looking for new skills. And yet, it is not uncommon to navigate from one profile to another, without seeing the photo of the owner.

According to career management experts on Linkedin, one of the most serious errors observed among certain users of the said platform is not inserting their photo. They also believe that a profile without a personal photo loses credibility. “Your profile is seven times more likely to be viewed if you post one. If there is no photo, something is wrong,” explains Nicole Williams, human resources manager.

Another aspect that recruitment specialists agree to note is the use of a photo that is not yours. And yet, they explain, the photo is there to show you in your best professional and not family light. It is therefore not interesting for one reason or another to post, instead of your photo, the photo of a person dear to you, an object, or an animal.

Even if you use a photo of yourself, we recommend the one that best reflects your current physical state. This will avoid creating a gap between the photo and you when meeting the recruiter.
