Need to redo your CV or just update it and you don't know where to start? Jobijoba invites you to see more clearly with this (fake) CV template.
Find out below what are the essential headings and information that must be found in a CV.
/ The picture : should we put a photo on our CV? If for you the answer is yes, remember one thing: a good CV photo should look professional. Otherwise better to do without!
/ The title of your CV: if you can, fill in your trade or the position to which you are applying at the start of your CV. This little extra saves recruiters time, which is to your advantage.
/ Address: Nowadays, a recruiter will not use your mailing address to contact you. You are free to keep it… or not.
/ The date of birth: you know, indicating your age can sometimes be a disservice to us… If you prefer not to give it, you can. The same goes for your family situation: this personal information does not add anything to your profile and is of little interest to recruiters.
/ Your experiences: undoubtedly the key section of your CV. Be sure to highlight your experience, detail your missions and what you have achieved. Remember to be specific in the dates and locations of your jobs. If you have some space left, you can even specify the type of your contracts (CDD, professionalization contract, CDI, etc.).
/ Your skills: mentioning your skills is a real bonus for your CV. So don't hesitate to dedicate a page space for your skills (languages, computer skills…) - without forgetting to add your level in each of these skills!
/ Your training: specify the dates of your training and your diplomas.
/ The “Hobbies” or “Interests” section: only indicate the hobbies you really care about as well as the activities in which you are very involved.
